Perez Morris law firm names co-leaders for its Cleveland office

  • March 7, 2023

Perez Morris has named newly hired attorneys Myra Barsoum Stockett and Jeanne Mullin as the inaugural co-managers of its Cleveland office.

The leadership appointments follow the women-owned, Columbus-based law firm’s entry to the Cleveland market last year via the acquisition of Giffen & Kaminski.

Both Barsoum Stockett and Mullin join the firm following more than 20 years each with Reminger Co. Two other Reminger attorneys, Christine Santoni and Matthew Turkalj, also joined them in the move from Reminger to Perez.

“We are pleased to welcome Myra, Jeanne, Chris and Matt to the Perez Morris family,” said Perez managing partner Sarah Perez in a statement. “These strategic hires add to our ever-growing bench of accomplished women trial lawyers and is a significant step in our efforts to expand the scope of top-quality service for our clients.”

Mullin will chair the firm’s medical malpractice department and Barsoum Stockett who will lead the workers’ compensation group in Cleveland.

The Perez office in Cleveland, located at 1300 East Ninth St. — the office was planning a move after the Giffen & Kaminski acquisition but reached an agreement with its landlord to stay there — has a total of 21 employees, including 14 attorneys.
